WHAT WE WANT

In succession to activities taking place in the „ Domeček“ we want to build a house for handicapped people and their assistants.A home where they could live together, similar to the L´Arche of Jean Vanier.

This community is being slowly born in a small village in the Železné hory / the Iron mountains/ not far from Chotěboř. In this year we would like to reconstruct the former building of the parsonage so that we could use it with handicapped children and young people for short stays.

We plan the motivating meeting of young people and volunteers with handicapped people to be held here / common work,seminars,sharing etc.../. Our longtime vision is making a community for handicapped people.We want to concentrate on restoration of historical and spiritual meaning of this place. Our aim is to renew this place in an original spirit and to try to live in harmony with nature, to use local sources, crops and animals to make products typical for this region.

We would like to open this community for all people who are opened to these values and to develop permanent cooperation with similar communities both in our country and abroad / The Faith and The Light, L ´Arche etc. /.
